AKA:
B, BJ, Beej, Jo, Burnda, Bren
Birthday: March 21
I do not remember the very first time I ever met Brenda.
For as long as I can remember Brenda was in my student
ward. Brenda is the type of individual that you are
always aware of and know she is there and are impressed
by the type of individual she is. I remember when she
bore her testimony after having gone to the temple for
the first time to receive her endowments. Her testimony
was simple but extremely sincere and something about
that touched me.
Brenda is the type of friend who genuinely cares about
others and their well being. She is extremely family
oriented and loves being the "favorite aunt"
to her nieces and nephews. Brenda is the friend who
drops off notes on your doorstep to remind you that
you are loved and is always good for a hug. She has
her own personal "Narnia" stocked up with
blankets to curl up with while reading a good book or
watching a movie. A lot of my favorite nights with the
gang have been at her house as we have stayed up late
talking and laughing.
One of her passions is traveling and she tries to take
a trip every year to a fun location. She is adventurous
and lives life to its fullest. I will never forget the
time we all went roller-skating and Brenda was singing
and dancing. And who could forget her infamous pole
dancing! Ha ha!
One
of the greatest blessings of my friendship with Brenda
is her listening ear and her beautiful heart. She is
always the one I go to for advice and she is always
willing to offer guidance when it is needed and to say
the things that need to be said when no one else will.
I consider myself truly blessed to have Brenda as part
of my life.
