THE WOMAN ...: MY FRIENDS ...: C.J.

AKA: "C", Ceej, Squeej, little Carl
Birthday: December 28

I am not sure when exactly C.J. became a part of my life but he has been an amazing example to me in many ways during the time he has been. I know that we met through our association in the student ward. I have watched as he has served in various callings from Gospel Doctrine teacher to Financial Clerk to Ward Mission Leader to Assistant Executive Secretary. He has always put his all into each of these callings as he serves with a willing heart.

C.J. is some one who I have nothing but the utmost respect for. During the time that I have known him I have constantly been amazed at the example that he has set by the life that he is living. C.J. is a true example of our savior Jesus Christ. He always has the Spirit with him and touches the lives he comes in contact with.

One of the things I like the most about C.J. is his spontaneous sense of humor. A surprising statement will pop out of his mouth that will make me laugh out loud. Plus keep your guard up because he might surprise you with a tackle. (I just have to remember not to take pictures!) He is a very family oriented individual who enjoys dinners with his family and spending time with his nephews.

Over the past few months I have gotten to know C.J. better on a one on one level and find him to be very thoughtful and intelligent. He shares my love for the leaders of the church and of books in general. After our discussions I am left thinking about his comments as he has an insight into life that leaves me amazed. He is a considerate man who treats the women in his life with respect. Whenever I am in his presence I am treated with kindness and courtesy.

C.J.'s example makes me want to be a better person. He is an example of Christ-like attributes and consideration. I am truly blessed to know him and be blessed by his friendship.
