AKA:
Kat, Kate, Kit Kat, Kocho, Machine, Trouble,
Kitty, KuKu, Baseball, Kitten, Katia, Bean, Scapegoat
Girl, Curls
Birthday: December 25
I first met Katie when we went on a trip to Lagoon
and we hit it off almost immediately. Katie and I are
so different yet so similar in our tastes. She is the
one who introduced me to Hagermann's and got me totally
addicted to their delicious sandwiches and cookies,
I love Sister Hazel since she introduced them to me,
we both love cherry limeades and crazy British chick
flicks. Plus no one else shares my love of board games
like Katie does.
We have had many a wild adventure. Whenever I want
to play a good practical joke Katie is my accomplice
and can always be counted on to have a bucket of sidewalk
chalk which we have used to draw chalk outlines and
love notes. We took pictures of people's butts for a
pay back to Matt for a practical joke. We have stayed
up way too late playing Animal Crossing and watching
loads of movies. No one else truly appreciates British
sarcastic humor like she does!
Kate
is very artistic and loves to be creative from her blog
to her shoeboxes. I remember one night with a bunch
of cut up magazines and some glue and creating a masterpiece.
She is the first one I enjoy sharing my new layouts
and designs with because I can always count on honest
feedback and opinions. We also have explored various
locations through out the valley with our cameras. We
enjoy going to the tulip festival at Thanksgiving point
together taking pictures of the flowers and each other.
Katie is one who really looks deeply at individuals
and sees others in ways that many would not. She listens
when I am having a rough day and has been there many
times when I am struggling. She is the one who after
being rejected went with me at 1:00 in the morning to
the only open restaurant we could find to have some
time away. I love Katie very much and am so grateful
for her and her friendship.
